In this paper we have in particular studied conception of angel in the Holy Qur’an. We have come across two different conceptions: Intelligent and strong-willed angels typecasting and unintelligent and volitionless angels typecasting. Which of them seem to be consistent? We have tried to provide arguments to evaluate this subject in the light of Qur'anic verses. Consequently, the assertions that angels are unintelligent and volitionless are not convenient for Holy Qur’an. Their using reason and will is similar to prophets. Angels are ingenious as prophets. Allah Almighty had chosen prophets from both of angels and humankind.
